A new club for Salem Artists!

Hello Everyone,

So I started up the club to try and bring together a variety of Salem's artists on DA, photographers, painters, sculptures, computer illustrators, ect. Please send me a note if you want to join, and I will start compiling a list of local talent.

If you would like to submit to the group, just send me a note with a link to your deviation and the details needed to Submit (title, materials and/or program used, date created, size info, ect.) and I will post up a image of your work. I am going to say 1 deviation a day per member, just so I don't get behind, and also so that everyone gets a chance to get their work seen if they want.

Salem-Oregon-Artists is a group set up to bring together the art community of Salem, Oregon here on Deviantart. While Salem may not have the deeply rooted art community of Eugene, nor the nationally recognized art community of Portland, it has a growing and vibrant group of artists of all ages. It is also a art scene still growing and rapidly shifting, and thus is a great place to make, display, and reinvent art.

If you live or work in Salem or in any of the communities nearby, please join on up.

The first Wednesday of every month all the galleries have new shows open and it's like a big art love fest downtown in Salem. Portland does the same thing on a different night of the week, each month.
